Southern Region News November 06, 2009 20:15 PM Skudai Assemblyman Receives Threat JOHOR BAHARU, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- Skudai state assemblyman, Dr. Boo Cheng Hau, yesterday made a police report of receiving a written threat left on the gate of his house at Taman Universiti here two days ago. The Johor DAP chairman, when contacted today, said the report was made last night at the housing area's police station. "The writing in Mandarin and Malay in black was first seen by my son when he rang the door bell and he informed me. I was just about to let him in from school at about 1.30pm," he said. Dr Boo said the Mandarin words used meant "death" while the Malay words meant "stupid". He said he was not sure of the motive behind the threat, adding that he left it to the police to investigate. Johor Baharu Utara police district chief, ACP Ruslan Hassan, when contacted confirmed receiving the report and said the case was being investigated under Section 507 of the Penal Code. --BERNAMA
