| Rain Over Perlis, Kedah, North Perak, Pahang Expected To Continue |

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- The Meteorology Department warned today that the intermittent rain and sometimes heavy over Perlis, Kedah, North Perak and Pahang since yesterday was expected to continue until Sunday.
The affected districts include Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap, Kota Setar, Sik, Pendang and Baling in Kedah, Hulu Perak, and Kuantan, Maran, Pekan and Rompin in Pahang which may see floods occurring, especially in the low-lying areas.
The department also warned about strong winds and turbulent seas which were expected to continue until tomorrow in the waters around Reef North and Samui, Condore and Layang-Layang islands.
The southeasterly wind was reported to be blowing up to 50km-60km per hour and the sea waves reaching 4.5 metres, which could be dangerous to fishing boats and coastal activities.
On Thursday, the department reported that Kelantan and Terengganu were also experiencing similar weather and sea conditions and this was expected to continue until Sunday.
