KLCI futures higher at mid-day

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended the morning session higher today.

At lunch break, spot month September 2019 increased 6.0 points to 1,600.0, October 2019 went up 7.5 points to 1,602.0, while December 2019 and March 2020 gained 7.0 points each to 1,602.0 and 1,596.5 respectively.

Turnover stood at 3,288 lots, with open interest at 30,323 contracts.

At 12.30 pm, the benchmark FBM KLCI was up 4.98 points to 1,607.28,
