Gold futures lower at mid-day

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 -- Gold futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives were traded lower at mid-day on profit-taking, with four contract months traded.

At lunch break, spot month November 2019 and December 2019 eased 54 ticks and 66 ticks to RM196.20 each, while January 2020 and February 2020 were pegged at RM201.60 and RM201.70 per gramme, respectively.

Meanwhile, two distant contract months, April 2020 and August 2020, were both down by 40 ticks and 60 ticksa o RM201.00 and RM200.00 per gramme.

Volume was four lots, while open interest amounted to 130 contracts.
