IHEAL TARGETS 5,000 TO SIGN UP FOR ''OURCHECKUP PLATFORM''
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 (Bernama) -- iHEAL Heart Group Sdn Bhd is targeting to sign up 5,000 users, within a year, for its new online platform called '’OurCheckup'’ that will store data on a patient's heart, says chairman and group managing director Dr David Khoo Sin Keat.
He said the cloud-based platform, to be launched on April 7 in conjunction with World Health Day, would be accessible to patients and their doctors, allowing them to easily secure and share data.
"At the moment, we are finalising the price for the application. We want to make it affordable and accessible to all," he told reporters after Deputy Minister of Health Dr Lee Boon Chye launched '’OurCheckup'’ here today.
To encourage adoption, iHeal today inked agreements with ASP Medical Clinic and Permai Polyclinics Group to become their clinic partners.
It also sealed agreements with Takaful Malaysia, to become their strategic insurance partner, and with iHeal Medical Centre to come onboard as its strategic medical centre.
He said ASP Medical Centre had a strong network in Malaysia of more than 1,000 healthcare providers while Permai Polyclinics owned 28 clinics in Sabah/Sarawak, allowing nationwide coverage.
"Going forward, we intend to expand the platform's reach, in a big way, to more doctors, corporations and insurance providers," Dr Khoo added.
