BOEING INVITES PILOTS, REGULATORS FOR 737 MAX BRIEFING

KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 (Bernama) -- Boeing has invited more than 200 airline pilots, technical leaders and regulators for an informational session in Renton, Washington, on Wednesday. 

A statement from the American multinational corporation on the Training Informational Sessions stated that the briefing would be part of its ongoing efforts to share more details about its plan for supporting the safe return of the 737 MAX to commercial service. 

"We had a productive session this past Saturday and plan to reach all current and many future MAX operators and their home regulators.

"At the same time, we continue to work closely with our customers and regulators on software and training updates for the 737 MAX," it said, adding, Boeing is paying for the development of the updates.
