CYBERJAYA, Sept 14 (Bernama) - Portal Jobs Malaysia 2.0 which was launched today can accommodate up to 19 million registered users, and is capable of handling 40,000 accesses at any one time.
Minister of Human Resources M.Kula Segaran said the job search portal had been improved and was more user-friendly after it was upgraded in 2015 at a cost of RM24.5 million by Mimos Bhd.
Speaking to reporters after launching the portal, he said the improvements were aimed at ensuring employers and job seekers obtain more efficient services.
"The new portal features automatic matching features and provides recommendations on job opportunities that are appropriate and offers opportunities to candidates directly," he said.
Kula Segaran said the portal, which could be downloaded on Google Play or Apps Store, also came with a psychometric-based career interest test feature as a guide to job applicants.
With these new features, Kula Segaran said jobseekers could find jobs near their place of stay.....
