Last Update: 10/06/2019

TANAH MERAH, June 10 (Bernama) -- The National Entrepreneur Group Economic Fund (Tekun Nasional) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a company in near future to create more job opportunities for the youths especially young graduates to engage in business and entrepreneurship.

Its chairman Datuk Seri Muhamad Suparadi Md Noor said the MoU was one of its efforts to help young people to venture into business and entrepreneurship.

“In the meantime, we cannot disclose the name of the company yet, for the sake of mutual interest, but the board has approved to the signing of the MoU,” he told Bernama here today.

“We (Tekun Nasional) are preparing a business model framework and reviewing the business model system,” he said, adding that the MoU would be signed in the near future.

“We are committed in creating job opportunities for young people and they need to use the opportunity the best they can.

"The MoU will be signed because we view the issue of unemployment among the youths seriously and that is why we want to play a part by providing programmes that can create employment opportunities,” he said.

He said Tekun Nasional was also willing to collaborate with any parties who were keen to be involved in implementing programmes to benefit the community.
