Sultan Mizan's three children top list of award recipients

KUALA TERENGGANU, July 22 (Bernama) -- Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin’s three children led the list of 53 individuals who received state awards and titles during an investiture ceremony held at the Syarqiyyah Palace here today.

Sultan Mizan awarded his daughter, Tengku Nadhirah Zahrah, the title of Tengku Puteri Utama Raja while his son Tengku Muhammad Mua'az was awarded the title of Tengku Setia Mahkota Raja.

Another daughter, Tengku Fatimaruz Zahra’, was awarded the title of Tengku Puteri Daulath Raja.

In addition, Deputy State Secretary (Management) Datuk Tengku Farok Hussin Tengku Abdul Jalil was awarded the title of Tengku Seri Bijaya Raja and State Secretary Datuk A. Rahman Yahya with the title of Datuk Bentara Dalam.

Menteri Besar Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar was awarded the Darjah Kebesaran Seri Setia Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin (S.S.M.Z) which carries the title ‘Datuk Seri’.

Meanwhile, another nine individuals received the Darjah Kebesaran Dato' Paduka Mahkota Terengganu (D. P. M.T) award carrying the title ‘Datuk’, namely Terengganu State Assembly Speaker Yahya Ali; State Financial Officer Mohd Zahari Md Azahar; Land and Mines director Zainal Abidin Hussin; Terengganu Skills Development Centre (Tesdec) chief executive officer Md Kamaru Al-Amin Ismail; State Treasurer Mohd Shukri Azam; Comptroller of the Royal Household Mohd Azmi Mohammad Daham; Sultan Mizan’s special officer Mohd Rosli Janah; Royal Terengganu Endurance Stable (RTES) general manager Che Mat Din Ismail and Exxon Mobil production manager See Kok Yew.

Another 10 individuals were conferred the Setia Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Terengganu (S.M.Z) award, namely State Syariah Implementation, Education and Higher Education Committee chairman Satiful Bahari Mamat; Terengganu Religious Affairs Department (JHEAT) commissioner Mat Azmi Arshad; Yayasan Islam Terengganu director Ahmad Azmi Md Salleh; Kemaman district officer Osman A. Bakar; Besut district officer Rozali Salleh; Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital director Dr Nor Azimi Yunus; Ketengah general manager Tengku Ahmad Nadzri Tengku Musa; Sultan Mizan’s private secretary Hadi Hassan; Sultan Mizan’s escort officer DSP A. Azmi Mohd Kasim and ceremonial duties deputy chief Shafee Omar.

Meanwhile, six individuals received the Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Terengganu (S.M.T) award, namely State Local Government, Housing, Health and Environment Committee chairman Dr Alias Razak; Human Development, Da'wah and Information Committee chairman Mohd Nor Hamzah; Marang land administrator Tun Ahmad Faisal Tun Abd Razak; Terengganu Land and Mines Office deputy director Wan Khalid Wan Jusoh; Terengganu Finance deputy officer Azhar Jusoh and Syariah officer Wan Abd Malik Wan Sidek.

Sultan Mizan also bestowed the Ahli Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Terengganu (A.M.Z) award to seven individuals, namely State Agriculture, Agro-based and Rural Development Committee chairman Dr Azman Ibrahim; Kuala Terengganu City Council secretary Ahmad Farhan Abdul Wahab; Terengganu Family Development Foundation director Ahmad Faris Abdul Razak; State assembly secretary Zulkifly Isa; JHEAT Halal Management Division assistant principal commissioner Syed Nazmi Tuan Taufek; Assistant Comptroller of the Royal Household Mohd Zulhilmi Harun and Yayasan Diraja Sultan Mizan executive secretary Mohd Azrul Ismail.

Another twelve individuals received the Ahli Mahkota Terengganu (A.M.T) award, namely Besut Municipal Council president Ahmad Azizi Zulkifli; Dungun Municipal Council president Lizan Che Mat; JHEAT Enforcement Division assistant principal commissioner Nik Zulhaiza Ismail and JHEAT Education Division assistant principal commissioner Lothman Awang; National squash athlete Nafiizwan Mohd Adnan; assistant accountant Rohasniza Abdullah, administrative assistants Rosle Ismail and Tengku Mohd Ariff Tengku Dalam; aide-de-camps Sgt Rusli Matarsha, Sgt Mohamad Bordin Che Seman and Sgt Noraini Abdullah; and Terengganu Investigation and Traffic Enforcement Department deputy chief DSP Ismail Man.
