Three friends charged with robbing petrol station

TEMERLOH, July 25  (Bernama) -- Three friends pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here today to a charge of robbing a petrol station of RM800.

The plea by  Muhammad Nazri Fadzil Rahman, 25, Muhammad Nur Iskhandar Amran, 24, and Mohamad Mustafa Mat Nayan, 24, all unemployed, were recorded before judge Azuar Che Yusof. 

The three men were charged with robbing a petrol station in Kampung Awah, Maran near here at 9.30 am last June 29 while armed with a machete.

They faced an imprisonment of up to 20 years and is liable to whipping, if found guilty.

Azuar did not allow them bail and set Aug 22 for mention to allow the three men to appoint their lawyer.
