39 record breaking attempts at MBR’s Penang roadshow

GEORGE TOWN, Sept 20 -- The second edition of the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) Live! roadshow started today at a leading shopping complex here and would be held until Sunday. 

With the theme “Extraordinary Malaysia”, the three-day roadshow would showcase 39 record-breaking attempts and seven engaging record titles open for public participation.

Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow who officiated the event said the event was highly anticipated and expected to stir more excitement in the state for this week.

Meanwhile, MBR Chief Operating Officer Christopher Wong said the roadshow aimed to inspire more Malaysians to achieve great feats and to push their limits further.

He added that the first MBR Live! Roadshow was held in September last year in Kuala Lumpur while the third edition would be held in Johor next year.
