Last Update: 31/10/2019

IPOH, Oct 31  -- A total of 256 participants comprising staff of the Perak State Secretariat, the District and Land Office, the Local Authorities and various state departments took part in the Innorace Productivity Ipoh Food Hunt Competition 2019.

The competition organised by the State Secretariat in collaboration with the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) represents a program held in conjunction with the ‘Hari Inovasi Peringkat Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan 2019’.

The participants were flagged off by the Chairman of the State Committee on Youth and Sports Development, Howard Lee Chuan How and the event was also attended by MPC Director-General, Datuk Abdul Latif Abu Seman at the Dataran Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan, here today.

The competition based on the 'explorace’ concept was divided into 64 groups who were required to answer questions related to innovations and productivity at every check-point and they must pass several challenges beginning at the SUK Building until the finishing line which is the State Secretariat Banquet Hall (Dewan Bankuet SUK).

When approached by reporters, Lee said the competition carrying the theme 'Ipoh Food Hunt' was chosen to promote eating outlets and tourist attraction centres in Ipon city especially around the ‘Jejak Warisan Ipoh’ area.
