Two gardens at Perdana Botanical Garden to close in stages for upgrading works

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 -- The orchid and hibiscus gardens at the Perdana Botanical Garden here will be closed in stages until Oct 8, 2020, to make way for upgrading works.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall Corporate Planning Department director Khairul Azmir Ahmad said the upgrading works which began on Oct 10 were in line with Phase Two of the Botanical Garden Development Action Plan.

"There will be activation of alternative routes following the upgrading works to facilitate movement at the gardens,” he said in a statement today.
