Negeri Sembilan MB describes PAS as 'soothsayer' for its prediction

SEREMBAN, July 22 (Bernama) -- Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun described the state PAS statement which predicted that it would win the 20 state seats in the next general election as a 'pak nujum' (soothsayer).

"Politicians have always liked to predict and play ‘pak nujum’ since back in the day... it was the same when we were the opposition, we liked to predict ... So no problem for anyone to predict.....

Sabotage suspected in Sungai Selangor diesel pollution


KUALA SELANGOR, July 22 (Bernama) -- The Selangor government suspects sabotage in the diesel pollution of Sungai Selangor that forced the shutdown of four water treatment plants yesterday, leaving more than one million people in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur without piped water.

 
 

Sungai Selangor, Rantau Panjang water treatment plants resume operations


SHAH ALAM, July 22 (Bernama) -- Operations at the Sungai Selangor phases 1, 2 and 3 and the Rantau Panjang water treatment plants which were shut down yesterday due to diesel pollution have been resumed at about 3.30 a.m today.

 
 

Operations of four water treatment plants halted


KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 (Bernama) -- Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd said that pollution from diesel oil had been found at the intake of the Sungai Selangor Water Treatment Plant Phase 1, 2 and 3 (LRA SSP1, LRA SSP2 and LRA SSP3) and the Rantau Panjang LRA from the raw water of Sungai Selangor.

 
 

Water supply restored completely in Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor and KL


KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 (Bernama) -- Water supply has been restored completely to Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, while the resumption rate for all other affected areas ranged between 81 per cent and 98 per cent, as at 6pm this evening.
