Gamuda seeks to increase overseas contributions — Group MD

SHAH ALAM, Dec 5 -- Gamuda Bhd aims to increase revenue and profit contributions from overseas to 50 per cent against 20 per cent within the next two to three years, mainly from projects in Australia, Singapore and Taiwan.

Group managing director, Datuk Lin Yun Ling said more than half of big construction projects in Malaysia are undertaken by Chinese companies, forcing the company to seek new market for sources of revenue.....

90 pct of country's waters free from foreign fishermen's intrusion


SERDANG, Dec 4  -- Ninety per cent of the country's waters is now free from intrusion by foreign fishing boats since an operation code-named “Op Naga” was launched last April, said Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub.
