Widow, child of Muhamad Firdaus Bahari receive Socso benefits

KLUANG, May 9 (Bernama) -- The next-of-kin of Muhamad Firdaus Bahari who was involved in a fatal accident at Km 9, Jalan Kluang-Tech Wah Hing last month, received compensation from the Social Security Organisation (Socso) today.

Socso Kluang branch manager Ahmad Suzaimie Abdul Aziz said Muhamad Firdaus, 28,who was driving a Perodua Kelisa car died at the scene after suffering severe head injuries in the April 20 incident.....

26 hectares of Taman Tugu land to be handed over to Awan - Khalid


PUTRAJAYA, May 8  (Bernama) -- The cabinet today agreed to hand-over 26.4 hectares of land at Taman Tugu worth about RM1.87 billion to the National Heritage Trust (AWAN) to be conserved as green lungs, said Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad.
