Putrajaya lines up 14 special events for Silver Jubilee celebration

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 9 -- Fourteen special events have been lined up for the Putrajaya Silver Jubilee celebration beginning from January until August, said Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abd Samad.

He said the highlight of the celebration would be on Aug 29, when Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad would open the time capsule which he had planted at the Putrajaya Landmark in Taman Putra Perdana, Precinct 1 on Aug 29, 1995.....

Putrajaya monorail system expected to complete before 2025


PUTRAJAYA, Jan 9 -- The monorail transport system in Putrajaya is expected to complete before 2025, with the line extended to Cyberajaya, Bangi and Kajang, said Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abd Samad.
