DOSM launches "i-MSBR" online app to strengthen statistical services

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26  -- The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) has launched a new online service application named the Interactive Visualisation Malaysia Statistical Business Register ( i-MSBR) to strengthen national statistical services and delivery system.

In a statement today, DOSM said the application is an interactive visualisation online service, developed based on the list of establishments or enterprises in the Malaysia Statistical Business Register (MSBR).....

Vietnamese businesswoman jailed 3 years, fined RM1.75 million for offering bribes to MMEA officer


KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26  - A Vietnamese businesswoman with the honorific title ‘Datuk’  was sentenced to three years jail and fined RM1.75 million by the Sessions Court here today for offering bribes amounting to RM350,000 to a Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) officer.
