Perlis ruler wants tax collection improved

ARAU, June 13 (Bernama) -- Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail has decreed that the state must give extra attention to the efforts to recover assessment tax arrears amounting to RM26.4 million.

The ruler said an encouraging amount of RM128.9 million of assessment tax had been collected last year, but quite a huge amount was  still in arrears could and could affect the public services.....
