CAP wants total ban on vaping, e-cigarette

GEORGE TOWN, Oct 2 -- The Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) has urged the government to impose a total ban on e-cigarettes and vaping products in the country as such devices were also used by minors.

Its president, Mohideen Abdul Kader today said from a survey carried out by CAP recently, some 1,000 students in Penang were found to be involved in this habit and the trend was worrying.....

Sanglang assemblyman still in critical condition, transferred to Alor Setar hospital


KANGAR, Oct 1 -- Sanglang assemblyman and Perlis PAS commissioner Mohd Shukri Ramli who collapsed on Sunday night while giving a talk and was subsequently warded at the Coronary Care Unit at Hospital Tuanku Fauziah here, was transferred to Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah in Alor Setar this afternoon.
