Clean up efforts to clear uprooted trees in Kedah 99 pct completed - CDF

ALOR SETAR, Aug 13 (Bernama) -- The clean-up efforts to clear uprooted trees in Friday’s storm disaster in the state is 99 per cent completed, Kedah Natural Disaster Management Secretariat coordinator Captain (Civil Defence Force) Saifuddin Abdullah said.

He said the cleaning up was carried out by 139 CDF personnel in  the 12 affected districts and that Kuala Muda district recorded the highest number of uprooted trees with 19 cases.....

Storm-felled trees to be cleared in three days
