JKKP: Company fined RM28,000 for negligence in workplace safety

GEORGE TOWN, Aug 2 (Bernama) -- The Penang Department of Occupational Safety and Health said a company was fined RM28,000 by the Sessions Court here today for neglectting workplace safety which resulted in the death of an employee.

It a statement here today, the department said a representative of Syarikat UUM Engineering admitted guilt  on behalf of the company before judge Mazdi Abdul Hamid.....
