Gondipar makes musical instrument to preserve the Dusun ethnic tradition

TAMPARULI, Sept 11 -- A farmer went an extra mile to preserve two traditional musical instruments of the Dusun ethnic group to ensure it would could be passed on to the ethnic’s youngsters.

Gondipar Sorioh, 60, from Kampung Timbou here, spends his time making flutelike traditional musical instruments called bungkau and suling or seruling, as well as conducting workshops to teach the younger generation playing the instruments.....
