Don't worry about funding for international conferences in Sibu, organisers told

SIBU, July 2 (Bernama) -- Event organisers in Sarawak need not worry about funding when it comes to holding international conferences or seminars in Sibu.

This is because the state government will back them up should they have good ideas to attract global visitors to converge in the town previously known for its timber products, said Sarawak Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.....
