Sabah records 693 accidents in 'Op Selamat 15/2019'

KOTA KINABALU, June 14 (Bernama) -- Sabah recorded a total of 693 road accidents involving various types of vehicles throughout the ‘Op Selamat 15/2019’ in conjunction with Aidilfitri celebration which was held from May 29 to June 12.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Omar Mammah said there was 15 per cent drop in the number of accidents recorded compared to 811 cases last year.....

RM130 million for upgrading, building new sites for solid waste disposal in Sabah


KOTA KINABALU, June 13 (Bernama) -- The Federal Government has provided an allocation of about RM130 million to upgrade solid waste disposal sites in three districts in Sabah to further enhance the efficiency and management of solid waste in the state.
