JANS absorbed 1,137 daily part-time workers

PAPAR, July 8  (Bernama) -- The Sabah Water Department (JANS) has absorbed 1,137 daily part-time workers following the state government’s decision to take over 58 water treatment plants from six plant maintenance companies last year.

Sabah Infrastructure Development Minister Datuk Peter Anthony said 427 more workers had not yet been taken in as they have to undergo skills courses first.....
