Police nab trio with contraband cigarettes, tobacco

LAHAD DATU, Oct 24  -- Polis arrested three men and seized 1,995 cartons of contraband cigarettes of various brands and 880 packages of cured tobacco at Jalan Silam, Simpang Kampung Sepagaya here, last night.

In the 10.30 pm incident, Lahad Datu district police chief ACP Nasri Mansor said the suspects, aged between 32 and 37 years, were detained in two Proton Waja cars travelling to Lahad Datu City from Tawau.....
