Sarawak awaits federal funding to train nearly 3,000 teachers

KUCHING, July 2 (Bernama) -- The Sarawak Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Research is still waiting for the federal government funding to train nearly 3,000 teachers to teach English as a medium of instruction for Mathematics and Science in primary schools statewide from January next year.

Its minister Datuk Seri Michael Manyin said currently the ministry was in the midst of preparing the module, and determining the total cost of the training as well as to print the materials.....
