Sandakan by-election: accept results and respect the law - police

SANDAKAN, May 11 (Bernama) -- Supporters of candidates in the Sandakan parliamentary by-election have been advised not to act in any way that could disrupt public order when the results are announced later tonight.

KUCHING, May 10 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) successfully suspending the floating of RON95 and diesel prices and capping them at RM2.08/litre and RM2.18 /litre respectively was a significant achievement with the first year of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration, said its deputy minister Chong Chieng Jen.

 
 

Kudat MMEA detain five foreign fishermen, seize more than 800 kg of sea cucumbers


KUDAT,  May 10 (Bernama) -- The Kudat Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) yesterday detained five Vietnamese fishermen on suspicion of illegally catching gamat (sea cucumbers) in the waters here, and seized the gamat which was estimated to be more than 800 kilogrammes.
