Pekan Nenas flood considered worse than last year by victims

PONTIAN, Oct  23  -- Floods that hit several areas in the district over the past two days were considered worse this year compared to last year by the victims.

A check by Bernama around Kampung Melayu Bukit Panjang, Pekan Nanas, here, which recorded the highest number of victims so far, found the victims' houses were still inundated and there were several cars submerged up to the roof level.....
