Puspen residents wants real 'independence' from drugs

MELAKA, Aug 29 -- While, Malaysians celebrate independence with great pride and gratitude, inmates from Tiang Dua drug rehabilitation centre (Puspen) here sees the true meaning of independence as to overcome the drug addiction.

One inmate, who only wanted to be known as  Bujang, 30, said he was arrested thrice in Puspen for being involved in drug activities, which started with ‘just wanting to experiment’ and was influenced by friends since 13 years old.....
