Air pollution: Six victims warded

JOHOR BAHRU, June 20 (Bernama) - Six of the 15 victims who were treated at the Sultan Ismail Hospital here after experiencing symptoms of vomiting and shortness of breath believed to be caused by air pollution yesterday, have now been warded.

State Health, Culture and Heritage Committee chairman Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar said the six, aged between nine and 10 years , were pupils  of Sekolah Agama Taman Mawar Pasir Gudang.....

Three individuals remanded four days over methanol poisoning cases


PORT DICKSON, June 21 (Bernama) -- Two family members and a businesswoman who were arrested yesterday to facilitate investigations into methanol poisoning cases have been remanded for four days from today.

Woman second fatal victim of methanol in Port Dickson


PORT DICKSON, June 20 (Bernama) -- A local woman died at 8.36 a.m. today while receiving treatment at the Port Dickson Hospital (PDH), as a result of methanol poisoning.           This makes K. Rathika, 26, from Serting, Jempol, the second victim after a 27-year-old Myanmar  man died last Monday.
