F
or first-time cruisers and Disney fans alike, sailing with Disney Cruise Line (DCL) offers an enchanting journey like no other. Since its debut in 1998, DCL has carved out a unique place in the global cruise industry, delivering extraordinary experiences where families can immerse themselves in Disney magic.

On Dec 15, 2025, Disney Adventure will set sail from Singapore on its maiden voyage, marking it as the first DCL ship to homeport in Asia. Guests can look forward to an array of unforgettable moments, including thrilling new attractions.

A highlight is the Ironcycle Test Run, the longest rollercoaster ever built at sea, stretching over 250 metres. On this exhilarating ride, guests can experience Tony Stark’s latest Ironcycle prototype on a high-speed circuit suspended 9 metres (30 feet) above the upper decks. The two-seater vehicles, inspired by Iron Man’s iconic red-and-gold suit, promise adrenaline-pumping twists and turns that are set to redefine family fun at sea.

Beyond the adrenaline, Disney Adventure introduces the Disney Imagination Garden, an open-air amphitheatre designed to captivate. Featuring the cutting-edge Garden Stage with towering LED screens, this venue hosts spectacular shows with beloved Disney and Marvel characters.

From energetic dance parties to action-packed superhero battles, the vibrant garden setting will be graced by a three-deck-tall storybook castle art piece. Serving as the heart of the ship’s entertainment, it’s the perfect gathering place for families to create memories together.

SEVEN WONDERS OF ENTERTAINMENT

A Disney spokesperson said first-time Disney cruisers are in for an unforgettable blend of magic, excitement, and family bonding on the Disney Adventure.

At the Marvel Landing site, visitors can ride the Ironcycle Test Run roller coaster, the longest roller coaster ever built at sea.

With an array of thrilling attractions, exceptional dining, luxurious accommodations, and captivating entertainment, this voyage is set to be a one-of-a-kind adventure for all ages.

When Disney Adventure sets sail next year, guests across Asia will have the unique chance to immerse themselves in the magic of their favourite Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories close to home.

“This magic will come to life through seven uniquely themed areas, including the Disney Imagination Garden and Marvel Landing,” the spokesperson shared during the Disney Adventure Grand Reveal ceremony at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre recently. Booking slots will open on Dec 10, 2024, with pricing and sailing dates announced on Nov 14, 2024.

According to the spokesperson, Singapore was chosen as Disney Adventure’s homeport for its strategic location, world-class air connectivity, and robust port infrastructure, making it a bustling cruise hub in Asia.

Disney’s signature cruise experience will be enriched with special elements tailored to Asian guests—from storylines and characters to diverse cuisine, entertainment, accommodations, merchandise, and even the ship’s design.

Operating from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, Disney Adventure will offer exclusively three- and four-night voyages with dedicated days at sea, designed to provide every guest with magical and unique experiences.

ARTFULLY-THEMED STATEROOMS

The Disney spokesperson described the lavishly designed staterooms and suites aboard the Disney Adventure, where fan-favourite Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories will come to life. Blending modern comfort with guest-centric conveniences, these accommodations promise a relaxing and seamless stay for all guests.

The 208,000-gross-ton Disney Adventure cruise ship will accommodate around 6,700 passengers, supported by approximately 2,500 crew members. It will offer 2,111 staterooms in various categories, catering to a wide range of travellers.

Disney Imagination Garden will be featuring a state-of-the-art Garden Stage with towering LED screens.

Most main staterooms will feature Disney Cruise Line’s signature split-bathroom concept, allowing two guests to prepare simultaneously, with one room containing a sink and shower, and another with a sink and toilet.

“Elevated bed frames provide ample under-bed space for suitcases and other bulky items essential for family travel. Guests will also enjoy 24-hour complimentary room service, allowing them to dine in the comfort of their staterooms whenever they please,” the spokesperson added.

For families with infants, Disney Adventure offers complimentary baby and toddler essentials available upon request at Guest Services, including cribs, bottle warmers, diaper disposal units, and bottle sterilisers.

Among the highlights are two exquisite royal suites inspired by Disney Animation’s Frozen. Each suite features a spacious living room, dining area with bar, a large main bedroom, a kids’ room with bunk beds, two en-suite bathrooms, and an extended veranda with a private whirlpool and lounge chairs.

The Elsa Royal Suite is a tribute to Elsa’s legendary ice magic, brought to life with contemporary aesthetics. Guests can expect icy light fixtures, snowflake motifs, and elegant decorations inspired by Frozen.

“In contrast, the Anna Royal Suite evokes the comforting warmth of summer in the kingdom of Arendelle, enveloping guests in deep greens, rich wood tones, and signature purple accents,” the spokesperson said.

A CULINARY ADVENTURE AWAITS

Dining aboard the Disney Adventure promises more than just a meal—it’s an immersive journey through beloved Disney stories, the spokesperson shared. With rotational dining, guests can experience three distinct dining atmospheres, each with the same dedicated service team, adding a personal touch to every meal.

The ship also features two standout entertainment venues: Navigator’s Club, which celebrates maritime tradition with exclusive ‘captain’s table’ dinners, and Hollywood Spotlight Club, evoking the timeless glamour of classic cinema.

Guests embarking on their first Disney cruise can look forward to enjoying a unique blend of magic, excitement, and family bonding.

“For casual dining, we offer buffet-style breakfasts and lunches that transition to table service for dinner,” noted the spokesperson. The Enchanted Summer Restaurant, inspired by Tangled and Frozen, transports guests into cosy, hand-painted settings, while Pixar Market celebrates films like Inside Out and Monsters University with vibrant decor,” the spokesperson said.

For guests seeking premium options, adults can savour Italian cuisine at Palo Trattoria, or explore Mike & Sulley’s premier Asian dining with four distinct experiences, including a Japanese steakhouse and lively teppanyaki room.

Quick-service options abound as well, with Bewitching Boba and Brews offering bubble teas and unique beverages, Stitch’s Ohana Grill serving Hawaiian-style burgers and sandwiches, and Mowgli’s Eatery featuring Indian cuisine, including vegetarian and regional specialties.

COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY

Disney Cruise Line is committed to environmental responsibility, actively working to reduce emissions, minimise waste, conserve water, and protect oceans and wildlife, aligning with The Walt Disney Company’s sustainability goals, the spokesperson said.

“Like all Disney ships, Disney Adventure is being built with cutting-edge technologies to enhance fuel and energy efficiency.

“For example, the Disney Adventure will launch using a mix of sustainable and low-emission fuels, including Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), as we await an adequate supply of green methanol.

“Furthermore, the Disney Adventure will continue Disney Cruise Line’s fleet-wide initiatives to reduce waste and conserve resources,” the spokesperson added.
