SERBA DINAMIK CO-FOUNDER AWANG DAUD CONFIDENT OVER THE GROUP'S PROSPECTS
KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 -- Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd’s co-founder, Pengiran Datuk Awang Daud Awang Putera, has expressed confidence in the prospects of the oil and gas services provider despite disposing of a small percentage of shares in the group yesterday.
In a statement today, he said the sale of the shares was largely due to the technicalities of the stock market margin call and was not an off-loading of shares exercise.
He also said that the speculation over him splitting ways with Serba Dinamik was merely groundless denunciations.
For the record, both Awang Daud and Datuk Abdul Karim Abdullah are co-founders of Serba Dinamik, which was established in 1993.
“I have known Karim for innumerable years and I place great faith in his leadership abilities which have taken the group to where we are today,” said Awang Daud, who has been connected to the group in various and diverse capacities since its inception.
He expressed confidence that the board of directors and senior management of the group would be able to carry out all the necessary steps to clarify any queries pertaining to the audit issues highlighted by KPMG PLT to safeguard the interests of its stakeholders.
