BIOALPHA HOLDINGS BHD announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Bioalpha International Sdn Bhd (BISB) and Zuellig Pharma Sdn Bhd have agreed to terminate the memorandum of understanding (MOU) entered on Jan 25, 2021, with immediate effect.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Bioalpha said the MOU was terminated as BISB would not proceed with the distribution services with Zuellig following the termination of the procurement and distribution agreement between BISB and Shanghai Bukun Trading Co, announced on Sept 3, 2021.

“No definitive agreement has been entered into by BISB with Zuellig pursuant to the MOU,” the group said.

BSL CORPORATION BHD said that the company was not aware of any events that had triggered unusual market activity on its share price, which had increased sharply recently, according to a Bursa Malaysia query today.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, BSL  said it is in compliance with the rules and will make the necessary announcement to Bursa Securities of any material information in compliance with Paragraph 9.03 of Bursa Securities Main Market listing requirements.

BOUSTEAD HOLDINGS BHD has appointed Pauline Teh Abdullah as its new independent non-executive director and Datuk Seri Rosman Mohamed as the chairman of its audit committee, effective today.

In a statement, group managing director Datuk Seri Mohammed Shazalli Ramly said Pauline’s vast experience and extensive knowledge will be invaluable to the board to deliver the company’s goals in line with its Reinventing Boustead strategy.

“The appointment of Rosman as the new chairman of the audit committee will further beef up the organisation.

“With the current experienced and diversified board line-up, the group will continue to improve its overall performance and maximise shareholder value as well as protect the interests of our shareholders, especially Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera as our majority shareholder," he added.
