11/11/2021 10:45 AM

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 -- TAFI Industries Bhd’s shares on Bursa Malaysia was higher in the early session today after the group announced that it is still in the midst of deliberating on a corporate transaction to enhance the trading and marketability of its shares, among other things.

The group said this in response to Bursa Malaysia’s unusual market activity (UMA) query on Tuesday.

At 9.59 am, the counter rose 16 sen to RM3.99 with 3.57 million shares changing hands.

In a filing with Bursa yesterday, TAFI Industries said it has yet to finalise the details of the transaction.

"We are not aware of any rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of the group that may account for the trading activity, or any other possible explanation to account for the trading activity," it said.
