TECHNODEX JV WITH ACCUBITS TO BOOST PRODUCT OFFERINGS

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 13 -- TechnoDex Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Grayscale Technologies Sdn Bhd has entered into a joint venture (JV) agreement with global solutions provider Accubits Technologies Pte Ltd to strengthen its information technology service offerings.

TechnoDex director Tan Sze Chong said Accubits’ comprehensive products and technologies will be infused into TechnoDex’s portfolio via Grayscale Technologies and will be made available to clients in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia, marking its foray into the region.

The JV will reinforce Grayscale Technologies’ commitment to empower and enable Industry 4.0, he said in a statement in conjunction with a memorandum of understanding inked at the Malaysian Pavilion, Expo 2020 Dubai yesterday.

The products to be infused include Emotyx, a computer vision, and artificial intelligence (AI) platform to enable real-time video analytics for various business analytics such as crowd intelligence, vehicle intelligence, anomaly detection; and Coinfactory Suite, a crypto ecosystem that offers a wide range of products, solutions, and white-label platforms.

Meanwhile, Accucerts will help businesses and academic institutions generate certificates through blockchain which are tamper-proof and immutable, while REIWAS is an AI-powered Change Management System that enables companies to automate the process of regulatory monitoring.

‘’Together with the newly announced Grayscale Technologies and Accubits, efforts to venture into AI, blockchain, mobile and web application development, custom software development, DevOps and cloud computing will be heightened,’’ he said.

Pursuant to the agreement, TechnoDex will own 51 per cent of the JV company.
