KELINGTON BAGS CONTRACT WORTH RM117 MLN IN SINGAPORE
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4 (Bernama) -- Kelington Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kelington Engineering (Singapore) Pte Ltd has bagged a RM117 million contract from a customer in Singapore.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the integrated engineering solutions provider said the contract involves undertaking bulk and speciality gas system distribution works for a world leader in innovative memory solutions’ fabrication facilities in Singapore.
“The contract commences in August 2022 and is expected to be completed by June 2024.
“The award is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Kelington for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2022, Dec 31, 2023 and Dec 31, 2024, respectively,” said the group.
It also said the contract was awarded by a leader in the design, engineering, and delivery of major complex projects and facilities for high-tech industries.
At the close today, Kelington’s shares were traded six sen higher at RM1.29, with 2.32 million shares changing hands.
