SAIFY AKHTAR APPOINTED CEO OF PERTAMA DIGITAL
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 1 (Bernama) -- Pertama Digital Bhd (Pertama Digital) has appointed Saify Akhtar as its chief executive officer, alongside Sivabalan Poobalasingam (Balan) as chief financial officer, effective Dec 1.
The company said Saify, who was previously Pertama Digital director of strategy, will be responsible for spearheading and driving Pertama Digital forward with bold and innovative business plans to ensure a sustainable and profitable future.
Meanwhile, Balan will be tasked to structure and focus on improving Pertama Digital’s financial health through prudent financial management.
Chairman Tun Datuk Seri Zaki Tun Azmi said Saify's understanding and commitment are pivotal in ensuring the success of future plans of Pertama Digital.
“Combined with the strength of our people and service offerings, I believe he will be able to elevate the company to greater heights and he has the leadership skill necessary to guide Pertama Digital to achieve its goals and aspirations,” he said in a statement.
