Disabled Man Lost In Kuala Krai Forest Found Safe - Fire Dept

KOTA BHARU, Oct 10 (Bernama) -- A disabled man, who had been missing since yesterday in the Sungai Pas Land Rehabilitation Scheme forest in Kuala Krai yesterday, was found safe at 8.14 pm tonight.

Kuala Krai Fire and Rescue Station chief Nik Ahmad Afsham Nik Pa said villagers found Azhar Abdul Rashid, 50, in an oil palm plantation in Bukit Cengal.

He said the victim was not injured but was just hungry after not having eaten anything for two days, adding that he was taken to hospital for treatment.

Thirty-eight personnel from various agencies, including the police and the Malaysian Civil Defence Force, were involved in the search.
