SHAH ALAM, July 5 (Bernama) -- Police are investigating an idependent preacher for allegedly spreading sex videos featuring his wives and other women, Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said.
The preacher’s second wife lodged a police report at noon, June 16 alleging that her husband had spread the videos.
“The police then arrested the husband and seized his two mobile phones and laptop. Checks of his mobile phone revealed several sex videos featuring him and his wife and explicit photos of several other women,” he said in a statement today.
He said the man has been remanded for four days till today and has been given police bail while police complete the investigation, which is being conducted under Section 509 of the Penal Code, Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 and the Minor Offences Act 1955.
He also urged those with information on the case to contact investigating officer Insp Mira Noraien Norashid at 011-11430765 or to show up at the nearest police station.
