KUALA LUMPUR, July 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today.
The spot month July 2024, August 2024 and September 2024 contracts garnered 6.5 points each to 1,625.5, 1,628.5 and 1,612.0 respectively, while December 2024 was 5.0 points higher at 1,618.5.
Turnover rose to 8,748 lots from 6,856 lots on Thursday, while open interest narrowed to 54,205 contracts from 51,579 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped 4.06 points, or 0.25 per cent, to 1,619.06 from Thursday's close of 1,623.12.
