KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, in sync with the underlying cash market.
The spot month September 2024 contract, along with the October 2024 and December 2024 notes, slid seven points each to 1,653.0, 1,657.0 and 1,660.5, respectively, while March 2025 slipped 6.5 points to 1,646.5.
Turnover was higher at 7,238 lots from 6,929 on Tuesday, while open interest widened to 50,220 contracts from 47,884 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped 6.41 points, or 0.38 per cent, to 1,670.24, down from Tuesday's close.
