KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking the underlying cash market.
Spot months October 2024 and March 2025 added 4.5 points to 1,632.0 and 1,627.0, respectively, while November 2024 and December 2024 gained 5.0 points to 1,635.5 and 1,639.5 respectively.
Turnover slid to 7,451 lots from 8,538 on Friday, while open interest eased to 49,018 contracts from 49,905 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose by 5.32 points, or 0.32 per cent, to 1,635.29, from Friday’s close of 1,629.97.
