KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 1 (Bernama) -- The National News Agency of Malaysia (Bernama) was among award recipients at the Federal Territory Youth Activist Appreciation Ceremony 2024 tonight.
The Special Presidential Award for the Media Category was presented by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa to News Services Executive Editor Mohd Haikal Mohd Isa who represented Bernama.
Other awards were the Pingat Jasa Belia (PJB) which was given to eight individuals including the President of the Malaysian Paralympic Council (MPM) Datuk Seri Megat D. Shahriman Zaharudin and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Film Development Corporation of Malaysia (Finas) Datuk Azmir Saifuddin Mutalib.
Five individuals received the Pingat Bakti Belia (PBB) Award.
The 2024 Youth Activist Appreciation Ceremony was officiated by the Melaka State President Tun Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam.
Also present was Federal Territories Youth Council president Khairul Rizam Abu Samah.
