PUTRAJAYA, Nov 24 (Bernama)-- The Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) hosted its second series of ReUnites – ReUnites II: Unconference-Industry 4.0 and Robotics, focusing on Industry 4.0 and robotics, blockchain and artificial intelligence as the main agenda.
MTDC Chief Executive Officer Datuk Norhalim Yunus said the format of ReUnites II differed from the previous ReUnites event as the setting was more casual and participants were able to engage with speakers with their own insights on the topics.
"Unconference is an event organised, structured and led by the people attending it. All attendees and organisers are encouraged to become participants with discussion leaders providing moderation and structure for the attendees," he said at the press conference on the conference here today.
Speakers from Intel Corporation, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Aroma Software who are experts and knowledgeable in their respective areas would be speaking at the event, he added.
The event from Nov 23-Nov 25 is open to MTDC recipient companies and also selected start-up companies focusing on technology and industry 4.0.
Norhalim said MTDC encouraged local technopreneurs to attend ReUnites as it gives the technopreneurs the opportunity to network, and the most important part was the sharing of success stories among them.
"We expect the activities in ReUnites will strengthen our relationship and drive the companies to be successful," he added.
About 100 participants have the opportunity to network with the entrepreneurs and revisit the importance of collaboration and team dynamics in the journey towards achieving business success.
MTDC offers commercialisation of research and development fund, technology acquisition fund, business startup fund, business growth fund and halal technology development fund to assist companies and entrepreneurs at different levels of business undertakings.
