Bajc 2024: Roslie, Xin Yee To Lead Malaysia’s Challenge In Yogyakarta

KUALA LUMPUR, May 28 (Bernama) -- Two reigning national under-18 singles champions, Roslie Razeeq Danial (boys) and Ong Xin Yee (girls) will lead Malaysia’s challenge in the Badminton Asia Junior Championships (BAJC) 2024 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from June 28-July 7.

Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) in a statement today said Roslie and Xin Yee, who are among 22 shuttlers listed for the BAJC 2024, will be joined by Sng Wei Xing (boys singles), Aaron Tai-Kang Khai Xing (boys doubles) and Siti Zulaikha Azmi (girls singles).

In the same statement, BAM Deputy President I Datuk V. Subramaniam, who announced the final selection of players today, congratulated those who made the cut to the team.

“The selected players now have an opportunity to prove themselves against their Asian peers in top-level competition,” he said.

Following are the full list of national shuttlers selected to play in the Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2024 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from June 28-July 7:

Boys singles: Roslie Razeeq Danial, Sng Wei Ming, Kong Zhou Swin and Muhammad Faiq Masawi

Girls singles: Ong Xin Yee, Siti Zulaikha Azmi, Oo Shan Zi, Dania Sofea Zaidi

Boys doubles: Aaron Tai, Kang Khai Xing, Lok Hong Quan, Goh Yi Qin, Loh Zhi Heng, Tan Zhi Yang, Redzuan Ahmad, Isyraf Hafizin

Girls doubles: Carmen Ting, Nicole Chau, Tan Zhing Hui, Clarissa San, Noraqilah Maisarah Ramdan
