SHAH ALAM, Nov 29 (Bernama) -- Bersatu’s youth wing, Armada, today announced new leadership appointments in conjunction with its annual general assembly at the IDCC Convention Centre here.
Its chief Muhammad Hilman Idham said in a statement that the appointment of committee members and officers was in accordance with Article 6 of the Armada Bersatu Malaysia Regulations.
He said Mohd Fahim Mohd Farid (Federal Territory) had been appointed assistant secretary; Nor Zahid Rahim (Sabah), assistant treasurer; and Harris Idaham Rashid (Penang), information chief.
The five committee members are Naim Brundage (Melaka), Ad Adib Shaharuddin (Federal Territory), Raihan Husni (Negeri Sembilan), Muhammad Afiq Hassan (Kelantan), and Mohammad Shakir Ariff Shaifuddin (Selangor).
The three ex-officio members are Kuah assemblyman Amar Pared Mahamud (Kedah), Seberang Jaya assemblyman Izhar Shah Arif Shah (Penang), and Chenderoh assemblyman Syed Lukman Hakim Syed Mohd Zin (Perak).
Meanwhile, Azizan Abdul Aziz (Pahang) was appointed to the Felda Bureau, while the Legal and Law Bureau was assigned to Zolazrai Zolkapli (Negeri Sembilan) and the Sports and Pop Culture Bureau to Muhammad Syamel Md Riduan (Kedah).
On Oct 29, Muhammad Hilman, who is also Gombak Setia assemblyman, was officially elected as the Armada chief for the 2024-2027 term.
