PUTRAJAYA, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- As Malaysians celebrated National Day on 31 August 2024, the theme Jiwa Merdeka—the Spirit of Independence—served as a profound reminder of the nation’s transformative journey and future aspirations. Marking the 67th anniversary of Malaysia’s declaration of independence from British colonial rule in 1957, Jiwa Merdeka called upon us to reflect on our collective achievements and the ongoing efforts required to advance as a unified and progressive nation.
