BANGI, May 19 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES), successfully hosted the “Kutip Sampah Sambil Riadah” (KUDAH) and “Don’t Be a Litterbug” programme today at Alur Ilmu, Friends of Langat River, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
Bringing together government officials, students, and industry representatives, the event promoted public awareness on the critical importance of not littering to reduce waste pollution in Malaysia. Activities included a riverbank clean-up, waste separation efforts, and demonstration of plastic recycling process via “The Green Truck”.
